Once again John sees a sign in Heaven, just like the sign of the woman in Heaven and the sign of the dragon in Heaven. It is a paradigm, a general spiritual principle of how God acts—as is shown very visible afterwards through events on earth.
Revelation 15
Day 227: And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God.
The ‘hundred and forty-four thousand’ are standing on Mount Zion. The conquerors of the triple evil – the ‘beast’, its ‘image’ and the ‘number of its name’, are standing on the shore of the ‘sea of glass like crystal’.
Day 228: And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvellous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!”
What are the ‘conquerors’ singing? The song of Moses! And the parallel is thus drawn between the saint’s experiences during the end times with the Exodus from Egypt of the Israelites through the Red Sea.
Day 229: “Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your Name? For You alone are holy; for all the nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
The Book of Revelation is the ‘unveiling’ of the Glory of Jesus Christ and the release of the judgments that accompany it. They have both now been ‘revealed’, ‘unveiled’, and the ‘victors’ praise the Lord and His Anointed for this.
Day 230: After these things I looked, and the Temple of the Tabernacle of testimony in Heaven was opened.
For the second time God’s Temple in Heaven is opened. Preceding the opening of the Heavenly Temple in Revelation 11:15-1 a song of praise is heard, in which the praises of the climax of this part of world-history is sung: “The Kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord
Day 231: The seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the Temple, clothed in linen, clean and bright, and girded around their chests with golden sashes. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
This celestial sign of the seven angels with the seven last ‘plagues’ has been mentioned earlier in verse 1 of chapter 15. We saw the seven angels with the seven last plagues in this celestial sign
Day 232: And the Temple was filled with smoke from the Glory of God and from His power; and no one was able to enter the Temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.
When Moses completed work on the Tabernacle a ‘cloud’ covered the ‘Tent of Meeting’. Then the ‘Glory of the Lord’ filled the Tabernacle, so that Moses was unable to enter the ‘Tent of Meeting’ for the ‘cloud’ was resting upon it, and the ‘Glory of the Lord’ filled the Tabernacle.
