The seventh seal of the scroll is opened and seven angels are shortly going to blow their seven trumpets. The scroll will not be spoken about any more. The last seal is opened and the scroll is thereby opened, and the end time rolls itself out.
Revelation 8
Day 124: And another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
The seventh seal contains the seven trumpets and the seven bowls, the great tribulation. The hour of trial, which lasts longer than an hour is in fact ‘forty-two months’, twelve hundred and sixty days, ‘a time, (two) times and half a time’, three and a half year.
Day 125: And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.
The prayers come before God as a sweet-smelling fragrance—just as the fragrance of the incense, when it is ignited on the altar, rises up as a sweet-smelling fragrance, an aromatic perfume. It had to be offered in the Tabernacle and the Temple in the correct manner.
Day 126: And the angel took the censer; and he filled it with the fire of the altar and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
The Lord Jesus says: “I have come to bring fire on the earth.” “He is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel,” says Simeon. Fire comes down from Heaven on Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord Jesus will be revealed from Heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels.
Day 127: And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.
The four angels at the four corners of the earth, who held back the four winds and received the command not to cause any damage to the earth and the sea before the hundred and forty-four thousand were sealed, are not mentioned any more.
Day 128: The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.1
The ‘other angel’ has done his job and brought the prayers of the hundred and forty-four thousand from Israel and of the multitude that no one could count and of the Church of all the ages into the presence of God.
Day 129: The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.1
First the earth, trees and grass. Then the sea, life in the sea and the ships are burnt by fire, or poisoned by ‘blood’. Nuclear explosives are exploded at a height of approximately four hundred metres for atomic A-bombs or at four thousand metres for hydrogen H-bombs in order to achieve a wide radius of destruction.
Day 130: The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from Heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters — and the name of the star is called Wormwood [Alsem]; and a third of the waters became wormwood [alsem, bitter]; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
What if that which is described in Revelation 8:8–9 and 8:10–11 are not nuclear weapons, but a strike from an asteroid or a comet, and precipitation from the tail of a comet? When the first plague strikes Egypt it was said that all the water of the Nile was changed to blood and that there was blood throughout the land of Egypt.
Day 131: The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.1
Enormous quantities of pulverised stone are thrown into the atmosphere when nuclear explosions take place above the earth’s surface. The energy from each A-bomb of the kilotonne class is capable of pulverising and vaporising approximately a thousand tonnes of rock.
Day 132: And I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-Heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe, to those who dwell on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
If we extend the imagery to the world of science and technology, the eagle flying in mid-air could be a great communications satellite. With its awesome solar panel-wings, it looks like a giant bird, and it transmits pictures and sound. John sees and hears it.
